The digital signature is stored on the server, enabling countless document signings without the need for a smart card. In one word: Signer-1.
Granting access to the digital signature via the server allows for automatic synchronization of authorized signatories through the organization’s Active Directory service or by uploading parameters from databases managed through the dashboard of internet applications. This approach provides authorized signatories with secure and convenient, as well as quick, access.
To secure access and authorize the private key located on the signature server, users undergo a secure two-factor authentication process using biometric methods (facial or fingerprint scans) or OTP mechanism (one-time password).
The Signer-1 signature server has been approved as a QSCD, meaning a Qualified Signature Creation Device certified for creating a qualified signature according to the mandatory European eIDAS standard.
